El Dabaa Advanced Technical School for Nuclear Energy Technology is one of the most prominent applied technology schools in Egypt and the very first specialized institution in the field of nuclear energy technology. The school aims to prepare qualified technical cadres according to the latest scientific and practical standards to meet the demands of the nuclear energy sector and advanced engineering industries. Operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, in cooperation with relevant national nuclear energy authorities, the school provides an advanced educational environment that merges academic excellence with hands-on training. The study program spans five years, combining theoretical education with practical training inside specialized laboratories and workshops. This approach ensures the development of students' technical and engineering skills, thoroughly preparing them for the labor market or for pursuing higher education at technological universities and institutes in accordance with governing regulations. Furthermore, the curriculum emphasizes scientific thinking, innovation, teamwork, and strict adherence to quality and occupational safety standards. During the first year, students follow a general curriculum that establishes fundamental scientific and engineering knowledge. Specialization begins in the second year across one of the following tracks: Nuclear Mechanics Nuclear Electricity Nuclear Electronics The curriculum includes scientific and cultural courses alongside specialized technical subjects and intensive practical training within workshops and labs. Boarding & Accommodation System
The school provides an integrated full-boarding accommodation system for all students to ensure a stable educational environment that helps them focus and maximize their academic achievement throughout their studies. The residential campus features a building fully equipped with all essential services, operating under complete 24/7 supervision to guarantee a safe and disciplined environment. The boarding facilities include fully equipped student housing, a dining hall serving daily meals, dedicated study halls, and a sports and activities hall, fostering a healthy balance between academic commitments and daily life. The residential campus is subject to strict administrative and educational supervision, ensuring compliance with internal regulations while nurturing a sense of discipline and responsibility among students. Students are granted a weekly weekend leave on Thursday and Friday, and are required to return to the school on Saturday to resume their classes and educational activities according to the approved schedule.
